A high-resolution cross-correlation spectroscopy analysis of the ultra-hot Jupiter MASCARA-1b using IGRINS and IGRINS-2 has revealed a comprehensive atmospheric inventory, including H$_2$O, CO, OH, Fe I, Mg I, Ca I, and Ti I. The atmosphere is characterized by a solar metallicity and C/O ratio, but a significantly enhanced refractory abundance (approx. 2.5x solar) and a refractory-to-volatile ratio of approximately 2.3x solar. Formation models suggest accretion between the soot-H$_2$O or H$_2$O-CO snowlines, and observations do not show strong evidence for nightside cold trapping.

High-resolution XRISM/Resolve observations of the cool-core galaxy cluster Abell 1795 reveal a low-turbulence intracluster medium (ICM). Velocity dispersion decreases radially, and low bulk velocities in the core, along with multiphase gas evidence and resonant scattering effects on Fe XXV lines, support an AGN-uplift origin over a "cooling-wake" scenario. Nonthermal pressure fraction diminishes with radius, indicating a quiescent ICM.

“XRISM observations of Abell 1795 show a radial gradient in velocity dispersion, decreasing from 114 $\pm$ 11 km/s in the core to 68 $\pm$ 39 km/s at 320 kpc.”

This paper proposes a dual metastable-state qubit encoding for 171Yb atom arrays that uses two independent qubit subspaces: a nuclear-spin (NS) qubit in the ³P₀ manifold for long-coherence storage and arithmetic, and a hyperfine-spin (HF) qubit in the ³P₂ manifold with a 6.7 GHz splitting for fast Raman operations and direct state-selective imaging. Coherent shelving between the two metastable manifolds enables operations to be assigned to spectrally distinct processor zones, allowing mid-circuit measurement and reset of ancilla qubits without disturbing nearby data qubits. This single-species architecture addresses a key challenge for fault-tolerant quantum error correction by reducing the control and architectural overhead traditionally associated with repeated mid-circuit measurements.

This work presents a method for calculating the topological invariant ${\cal N}_3$, which governs the integer quantum Hall effect in 2D tight-binding models. The invariant is derived from the Wigner transformation of the electron Matsubara Green function and is expressed as a pairing involving $K^{-1}$ and $HC^3$ groups. Local index theorems confirm that ${\cal N}_3$ yields integer values for specific models.

SpineAgent is a novel multi-agent framework designed for automated spine MRI report generation, addressing the challenge of integrating multi-sequence imaging data. It employs a multi-sequence foundation model, pre-trained with DINOv3 encoders and a continual training strategy, on an extensive dataset of over 32,000 patients. The system demonstrates state-of-the-art performance, strong generalizability, and advanced capabilities including pathology localization and multimodal retrieval, offering a scalable and explainable solution for clinical MRI analysis.
